Client: UW Medicine / Harborview Medical Center
The ask:
Harborview Cares for Kids, an internal hospital fundraiser, had just reached its tenth year and asked me to update their old logo. This project included multiple rounds with a large group of stakeholders.
My process:
I had to resolve a number of challenges. I needed to find a symbolic, gender-neutral toy that would be used within new UW Medicine brand guidelines and still relate to previously used materials. The logo also needed to be usable in both multi-color digital materials and single-color printing. Finally, I needed to include space to indicate five different departments.
RESULTS:
The client had a successful tenth anniversary fundraising event and was happy with the logo.
